Property developer Bricks Group has chosen construction company GRAHAM for a £70 million project. The task? Transform Nottingham’s unused Bendigo Building into a high-end, custom-made student living space.
Called ‘True Nottingham,’ this project is managed by Bricks Group’s a Student platform. It provides 661 student spaces in studio flats and ensuite rooms for 4, 5, or 6 people.
Like other True Student properties, the luxurious accommodations will boast amazing features: a media game room, a gym with personal trainers, outdoor gardens with seating, parking for 44 cars, 188 spaces for cycle storage, and two ground-floor retail spaces of 2,800 sq ft each.
The original Bendigo Building was a Royal Mail sorting office in the late 60s. It’s been empty for almost 20 years. The plan is to turn the £70 million revamp into student living and uplift the {area overall.
‘True Nottingham‘ enjoys a prime location. It’s close to Nottingham Trent University, the train station and the high street, all under half a mile away. Nottingham has welcomed many local and international students recently.
