Griffith University Unveils New Student Accommodation At Gold Coast Campus

Griffith University’s Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Carolyn Evans, said the new tower will cater to the increasing needs as the Gold Coast campus grows. The university promises to provide top-tier experiences for students.

The tower will cost $120 million, with studios, two-bedroom apartments, and accessible rooms. Added facilities include a cinema, swimming pool, and modern shared spaces for residents’ enjoyment. 

John Schroder, the Group Managing Director and CEO of Campus Living Villages shared this is their first new Australian build post-COVID-19. He also announced aspirations for the building to be a remarkable sustainable target for a 5-star Green Star and WELL Gold certification.

Griffith University Village, managed by Campus Living Villages, can house over 500 students at the Gold Coast campus. The new block will raise the housing potential for students by more than 90%.
