Founded in 1839, the University of Chester is a public university located in Chester, England. It is one of the oldest institutions in the country which was originated as the first purpose-built teacher training college in the UK. The Parkgate Rd Campus has a mixture of Victorian buildings which includes a chapel built by some of the original students in the 1840s. It also has some modern buildings such as the Students' Union.
