Will any fee be charged for replacing the room or ending the tenancy early?
University Living will charge a nominal fee for guiding you and enabling the replacement. Additionally, the property may charge administrative fees to process the contract change.
How long do I have to wait to get my refund?
After all the formalities are completed, and the room lease has been transferred successfully, the refund will be initiated as per the policy stipulated by the accommodation provider.
Will I get my deposit back?
Since this is a change in an existing contract, the deposit will not be returned by the provider. However, it saves you from losing out on your entire tenancy amount.
I’ve paid all the installments, how much of the money will be refunded to me?
After the successful replacement formalities, the property will refund the amount equivalent to the remaining tenancy period. The property may charge administrative fees to process the contract change.
